I come to you via Los Angeles the home of carmageddon, while David is up on the Emerald Isle where it's raining and the blackberries are still waiting to see some sun.
If it isn't carmageddon, it's armageddon as the ayatollahs in the GOP drive us to the brink of ruin, just to make a point. No matter that the world economy would reel, that 7000 of our municipal bonds would tumble bankrupting 100 cities across the nation, that the full faith and credit of the United States would become a joke, as long as it makes Obama look bad and contributes to his defeat in 2012, well, full steam ahead and all you sub-millionaires will just have to get out of the way!

THE GOP'S HURTIN' ALAS,
CAUSE THE COUNTRY IS TAKING A PASS
ON THE MEANINGLESS BANTER
OF BOEHNER AND CANTOR
AND THE JERKS IN THEIR NEW FRESHMAN CLASS.
THE GOP'S STRATEGY'S CLEAR,
AS THE DEBT CEILING DEADLINE DRAWS NEAR.
THE BONDS, THEY'LL DEFAULT 'EM.
CAUSE THEY THINK IT WILL VAULT 'EM
INTO TAKING THE CONGRESS NEXT YEAR.

Says the tape was doctored, and that anyway he was talking about children. Maybe we can pray the mendacity out of him.
